Creative Media and Performing Arts

Qualification: Award / Certificate

Exam board: WJEC

The qualification offers learners an engaging experience of applied learning, where knowledge, skills and understanding are acquired through purposeful tasks set in sector or subject contexts that have many of the characteristics of real work. Each qualification is built from discrete units in Art, Dance, Drama, Media and Music. The Level 1 / 2 Award in Creative and Media requires learners to complete two mandatory units and one optional unit, whilst the Level 1 / 2 Certificate requires learners to complete two mandatory units and any three optional units.

Assessment: Internally assessed and externally moderated against the objectives set by WJEC.
